Geography: Flowery Branch is located in Hall county and borders Chestnut Mountain, Gainesville and Braselton - it is also located on the shores of beautiful Lake Lanier.
Town Facts : The town was originally named Anaguluskee which is an indian word meaning "flowers of the branch". Since the beginning of the 2001 season the Atlanta Falcons training camp has been located in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Phil Niekro who pitched 20 seasons for the Atlanta Braves is also a resident of Flowery Branch as well as a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
